Did you ever heard about 'ondol' in Korea?. It is a traditional way of heating the room during winter.Room floor heated by warm air and user can control the temperature to the desired level. Today ondol being slowly replaced by modern heated blanket, as shown in the picture. I bought 1 unit, for 20k won.

Millions Korean moving daily by city train, called Metro. Thus businesses under the underground station is a big deal. They sell anything, such as gadgets, phones,clothes,kichen appliances,flowers,souvenirs,etc.
Raw fish restaurant- they don't cook fish as to retain the protein but I can't even try it due to 'korean food smell'.
